At 17:30 hrs. Co.24 & 11 were dispatched for a house fire at 7707 Mckaig Rd. A179 arrived on scene with fire showing on sideC, RE171 soon arrived on scene and the crew from RE171 and A179 pulled a 1"3/4 line and begin attack on the fire. C11-1 arrived on scene and assumed command soon after command advised ECC to start safety task force. ET114 arrived on scene and began to set up water supply. TR42 arrived on scene and began laddering the roof. RS24 arrived on scene and started ventilation. The tankers arrived on scene to supply water. Fire was soon extinguished. Units began to clean up and returned to service.
