Trench Rescue In New Market

Around 16:00 hrs. Co 24 was dispatched to assist with a trench rescue in the area of Eaglehead Dr. & North Shore Way. While RS24 was enroute they were told to use the construction entrance off Gas House Pike. RS24 arrived on scene and began to use cribbing along with other equipment on the unit. Before RS24 was requested Command also requested the trench team from Montgomery and Howard County due to the situation of the rescue. Trooper 3 was also requested to fly the patient after the patient was rescued. The patient was removed from the trench and flown to Shock trauma. All units cleaned up and return to service.
