First Due House Fire

At 00:22 hrs Co. 24 & 11 were alerted for a house fire at 8496 Inspiration Ave. First arriving Chief 11-1 (Barrick) reported heavy fire showing and everyone out of the house. ET114 arrived on scene and advanced a hand line into the residence and found heavy fire in the basement, 1st and 2nd floors. E23 arrived and stretched a second hand line into the residence, while Q-11 arrived and took aerial operations. RS24 arrived on scene and reported to command and then was given multiple assignments in assisting with fire attack and cascade. A247 handled EMS and rehab. Crews remained on scene to assist Fire Marshalls and overhaul. Command was terminated at 04:30 hrs.
