| At 21:56 hrs. Co.24 & 11 were dispatched for a MVA with Entrapment on Rt. 26(Liberty Rd.). C11-1 arrived to find a single vehicle on its side with one patient trapped. C11-1 requested RE171 to the scene due to down power lines in the roadway blocking access to the crash scene and established command. A247 and M17 arrived on scene and started patient care. E111 arrived and pulled a hose line in place and assisted with extrication. RS24 arrived on scene and began stabilizing the vehicle with air shores and setting up the portable generator for extrication due to power lines in the roadway. After stabilizing the vehicle crews from E111 and RS24 began extrication making a roof flap to extricate the patient. RE171 arrived on scene and assisted with the extrication. Patient was extricated and was transported to Meritus Hospital by A247. Command was terminated and units were in service at 23:01 hrs. |
