| At 00:43 hrs. Co. 24 &11 were dispatched for a MVA with entrapment at Stauffer Rd and Inspiration Ave. C24 was first to check up and Frederick ECC advised C24 that the corrected location was to be on Stauffer Rd. with a vehicle into a truck. C24 arrived on scene and advised that he had a single vehicle into the rear of a flat bed truck with a single patient trapped and requested trooper 3 for a category A patient and established Stauffer Rd. command. M1 and A247 arrived and began patient care. Upon RS24 arrival C24 advised them that they will have two door removals. E111 arrived and stretched a 1 inch trash line into place and assisted with extrication. RS24 arrived on scene and started extrication and removing the rear and front driver's doors to extricated the patient. The patient was extricated in 25 min and was packaged and transported to the landing zone and flown to Shock Trauma priority 1. C24 terminated command and units were in service at 01:50 hrs. |
