ARRANGEMENTS - Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department LODD Firefighter Mike Powers

It is with deep sorrow the officers and members of the Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department announce the Line of Duty Death of Firefighter Michael "Mike" Powers. F/F Powers had a medical emergency and collapsed on the scene of a serious automobile accident on Rt. 26 in Frederick County at approximately 12:55 today's date. Firefighter Powers was life member of the Libertytown Volunteer Fire Department and had over 50 years of total service having previous membership with the Carroll Manor Volunteer Fire Company and Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company.
