As Co.24 units were clearing the EMS task force call in the city units were dispatched at 20:39hrs for a vehicle stuck in flood waters in the 10900Blk of Gas House Pike. Co. 24 was dispatched with A249 & RS24. C11-1 arrived on scene and confirmed that he had one car in the water and patient still in the car and established command. C11-1 also advised ECC that the car was moving at the time. RS24 & A249 staged on the East side of the creek along with C11-1. As units arrived on scene they quickly put a plan together to get to the victim. Personal from the swift water team had a plan to walk out to the victim as the water was shallow enough to do a still water rescue. Patient was walked out to a nearby ambulance for evaluation. Patient was transported to FMH for further evaluation and units went in service as ready and command was terminated.
