At 21:42hrs. Co.11 & Co.24 were dispatched to Rt.26 & Monocacy River for a rapid water rescue. While units were enroute ECC told all incoming units that MSP was on the scene with one patient on an island in the middle of the river. Duty 2 was the first to arrive and established command and as RS24 & Q11 arrived they set up to assist with lighting up the area. Boat 2 and personal from the ATR team arrived and quickly put a plan together to get the patient out. The patient was not injured at the time so the patient was loaded and carried back across the river to A248. One patient was transported to FMH. Units went in service as ready.
