Co. 24 Units Assists Lewistown

At 15:52 hrs Co. 24 was dispatched to Powell Road and Mountaindale Road for a Motorcycle accident with multiple patients. A247 arrived on scene first and confirmed dispatch with multiple patients, with one priority 1 and requested aviation. Duty 24 arrived next on scene and established Mountaindale Rd. command. E221 and Medic 2 arrived and assisted A247 with patient care. A249 and Medic 30 arrived and provided patient care to the second patient. RS24 arrived and assisted with patient care and clean-up. On further evaluation by A249 on their patient was also found to be a priority 1 patient and a second aviation was dispatched. ET114 was the dispatched to the scene for a second landing zone. Both patients were then flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore by Trooper 3 and LifeNet. Command was terminated and units were in service at 16:47 hrs.
