As units were lined up and ready for the parade to start for the Walkersville carnival units were dispatched at 18:24hrs from Co.244 & Co.11 for a vehicle accident at Rt.194 & West Frederick St with reports one car on its side. C-11 arrived on scene to confirm as dispatch with two vehicles with one on its side and two patients still in the car and established command. E111 arrived on scene to pull 1 ¾ line for protection from fluids. RS24 arrived on scene soon after and the crews went to work stabilizing the vehicle and removing passenger side door to excruciate the patient. A308 arrived on scene to start with patient care (A308 was covering first due area due to parade). Command soon requested two more BLS units. A247 & A249 arrived on scene to start with patient care for the other patients. All patients were transported to FMH. Command was terminated and units went in service as ready.
