Utility 24 is a 1993 Ford F-350 truck that was previously used as a public works vehicle.
Utility 24 serves a variety of different purposes.
The Utility can be used as a first response piece when there is an extended ETA on an ambulance or more personnel are needed at the scene of an incident.
The Utility is designed to be used as a back up squad, when Squad 24 is out of service. Because of this, Utility 24 carries different fire and rescue equipment as well as medical equipment.
