At 13:24hrs. Co.11 & Co.24 were dispatched to the 9200 Block of Liberty Rd. for a vehicle accident. While units were en-route, ECC advised C11-1 they started a second ambulance due to multiple patients. C11-1 arrived on scene to find two vehicles rear-end collision with patients still in one car. A248 arrived on scene and started patient care. RS24 arrived on scene to block traffic. ET114 arrived on scene to check the vehicles for leaking fluids and block traffic. A28 was dispatched due to other units from 24 being on prior calls. A28 arrived on scene to start patient care on second car. One patient was transported to FMH and other was transported to Meritus Hospital.
